James with her friend and colleague, Chris Halton, host of the longstanding Haunted Earth project. Filmed on location in East Anglia and featuring the breathtaking cinematography of Jason Figgis (“Winifred Meeks”), the film looks at the possibility that James himself experienced the paranormal during his life, helping to influence his prolific body of supernatural stories.

The Ghosts of Archer Avenue

During the pandemic Ursula began making mini documentaries to keep up the spirits of her fans and friends. Most of them are short, but this longer documentary looks at the ghosts and hauntings of the famed Archer Avenue corridor or “triangle” of Chicago’s Southside region. From Resurrection Mary to the ghosts of the old Sag Bridge settlement, Maple Lake and more, this critically received short film shares Ursula’s three decades of research and investigation of this enigmatic area.
